Like mah-jong tiles, dominoes can be used as a tool of divination.  We have 6 types of domino readings.

Single Domino

The easiest and most common method of reading is to draw just one.

The Cross

The Cross Spread is good for asking for advice.  It is based on the practical tarot spread. The main thing is to determine the difference between domino #2 and #3. #1 is the topic and #4 is the result.

3 Bones #1

This traditional method of reading draws 3 tiles out of the pile. They are flipped to answer the query in chronological order.

3 Bones #2

This method of 3 Bones draws 3 tiles one at a time, reshuffling between draws so that tiles may repeat.  If tiles do repeat, this indicates a faster outcome.

Attainment Reading

Use this reading to assist in reaching, or possibly defining your goals for the future. This reading explores both your weaknesses and strengths, and suggest areas in which you will have to make more effort to ensure you reach your goals.

Relationship Reading

This reading concentrates on the dynamics of your relationship with another person. The other person could be anybody;  a mate, or business partner, an enemy, or even a group.

How to Read Dominoes Online

Traditionally, domino divination involves drawing tiles from a set and interpreting their positions and combinations. In our online version, you simply select or shuffle tiles virtually. Each tile has a symbolic meaning, and the layout reveals patterns and guidance specific to your question. Focus your mind, cast the tiles, and explore the interpretations for insight.

Understanding Domino Symbols

Each domino tile represents numbers that carry symbolic significance. Pairs, doubles, and sequences convey different messages, allowing the reader to see connections between situations, people, and outcomes. The art is in interpreting the story the tiles tell as a whole.

The Origins of Domino Divination

Dominoes originated in China during the Song dynasty and quickly became popular in Europe. The practice of using them for divination dates back centuries. Seers and mystics would cast tiles to gain insight into personal matters and community decisions. Our online version keeps that ancient tradition alive in a modern, accessible format.

Dominoes vs. Other Oracles

Domino readings differ from tarot, runes, or I Ching by focusing on numerical symbolism and patterns. While other oracles may highlight archetypes or philosophical concepts, dominoes often provide practical and straightforward insights, making them perfect for both beginners and experienced diviners.
